Eighty years ago, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø was founded by a visionary leader and 62 courageous faculty members who boldly challenged the exclusionary norms of higher education in 1945. Refusing to conform to discriminatory practices based on race, religion and gender, they declared, “We don’t count that way.â€
As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we honor their trailblazing spirit and invite you to reflect on this remarkable journey while envisioning the bright future ahead. Together, we will celebrate and build upon this legacy of inclusion and progress.

Join us in recognizing the good work of our corporate and community partners as we kick off the anniversary celebration. Civic Night will elevate ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s visibility by engaging the networks of our Board of Trustees and advisory boards. Enjoy drinks, bites, and live performances in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's historic Auditorium Building.

Experience the magic of 1945 with an evening at the majestic Auditorium Theatre, featuring ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø alumna Courtney Reed—from Broadway’s Aladdin and Moulin Rouge! The Musical—and music director Benjamin Rauhala.
Dress in your finest 1940s glam and celebrate the lasting legacy of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø with host Parvesh Cheena. Tickets begin at $45, and select packages include access to a post-show VIP reception hosted on stage.

Join us in our nation’s capital at the iconic Library of Congress for a one-of-a-kind reception. Experience a special installation honoring ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and our founders, President Franklin D. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and First Lady Eleanor ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.
